Emergency Day Plan (Grades 6-8)

When we need to use an emergency day (such as a snow day), middle school students will learn remotely following this schedule. Please make sure your student is prepared to connect online.

Daily Schedule

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Office Hours — Teachers available via Google Classroom or email

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Live Google Meet Classes — Students attend virtual lessons

Classes (30 min each)

  • Math — Instruction and practice
  • ELA — Reading and writing activities
  • Science — Lessons and assignments
  • Social Studies — Content and activities

Attendance

  • Classwork posted on Google Classroom by 8:00 AM
  • Attendance taken during live Google Meet sessions
  • Contact teacher via Google Classroom or email if you need help

Program Overview

Preparing Young Adolescents

Our Middle School curriculum addresses the needs of young adolescents through interdisciplinary teaming, an integrated curriculum, an advisory program, and elective (exploratory) classes.

The middle school is structured according to guidelines supported by both the National Catholic Educational Association and the National Middle School Association. Our program can meet the needs of children across the educational spectrum from special needs to gifted.
