Chess Club
All Grades Welcome
Chess Club is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn and improve their chess skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner just learning how the pieces move or an experienced player looking to sharpen your strategy, Chess Club has something for everyone.
Students learn critical thinking, problem-solving, and patience while having fun with their classmates. The club meets after school and runs seasonal sessions throughout the year.

Spanish Club
Grades K-8
Spanish Club offers students a fun and interactive way to explore the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. Through games, songs, crafts, and activities, students build vocabulary, practice conversation, and learn about traditions from Spanish-speaking countries around the world.
No prior Spanish experience is required - this club is designed to make language learning accessible and enjoyable for all students!
School Band
Grades 4-8
The RCS School Band program gives students the opportunity to learn an instrument and perform with their peers. Students receive instruction on their chosen instrument and perform at school concerts, assemblies, and special events throughout the year.
Instrument rentals are available for families. Download the band information packet for details on instruments, lessons, and the rental program.
Vets in Training
Grades 3-8
Do you love animals? Vets in Training is a unique club where students learn about animal care, veterinary science, and how to help animals in need. Through hands-on activities and special guest presentations, students explore what it takes to care for pets and wildlife.
This club is perfect for young animal lovers who dream of working with animals someday - or who simply want to learn how to be a better pet owner!
