Youth Faith Formation

Nurturing the spiritual growth of our students through prayer, service, and community

Daily Faith Practices

Faith is not just a subject—it's a way of life at RCS. Students participate in daily faith practices that form good spiritual habits:

  • Morning prayer over announcements
  • Weekly Mass at Resurrection Church
  • Daily religion instruction
  • Service projects throughout the year

Liturgical Programs

Students have opportunities to participate more fully in the liturgical life of our community:

  • Altar Servers: Grades 4-8 may train to assist during Mass
  • Lectors & Cantors: Middle school students may proclaim readings or lead song
  • Living Stations: 8th graders present the Stations of the Cross during Lent

Sacramental Life

Throughout the year, students experience the grace of the Sacraments:

  • Reconciliation: Offered during Advent and Lent
  • Adoration: Quiet time before the Blessed Sacrament during special seasons
  • First Communion: Prepared in 2nd grade
  • Confirmation: Prepared in 8th grade with parish support
