Grandparents Day 2026

MARCH 6, 2026 – RCS is excited to celebrate the sweetest people in our lives — our grand

parents and special older family friends! This special day gives students the opportunity to spend meaningful time together through fun bonding activities and light refreshments.

NEW THIS YEAR – All guests will:

• Check in at the Parish Center
• Proceed directly to the Gym for all activities
• There will be no movement throughout the building to ensure safety and a smooth flow for all.

Session Information – The day will be divided into three sessions:

• PreK & Primary (K-2 Grades): 9am-9:30am
• Intermediate (3rd-5th Grades): 9:45am-10:15am
• Middle School (6th-8th Grades): 10:30am-11am

Students will attend only their designated grade-level session to allow grandparents quality one-on-one time with each grandchild.

A designated waiting area will be available for guests who have multiple sessions to attend.

Guest Guidelines

• Limit of 4 guests per family
• If a grandparent is unavailable, a special older family member or friend is welcome to attend
• Please do not arrive prior to your grandchild’s scheduled session time

Arrival Instructions

• Check in at the Parish Center
• (Register under the youngest child’s last name)
• Proceed to the Gym
• Students will be seated by grade level
  • If attending with multiple grandchildren in the same session, meet at the youngest child’s table, then you may decide which grade to sit with.

Dismissal

Students may leave with grandparents only if a dismissal form is submitted.
If not submitted, students will be dismissed at the regular half-day time.
